Expensive, slow, crowded, mostly a tourist trap. The so so food isn't worth the hassle or the price.

The wait was long and the service was dismissive. Hoping for a homey feel but it was just uninteresting and impersonal.

Awesome seafood on the water and a great way to start my weekend in a new city. Seafood was cooked very well but my issue is with the hostess and their lack of accountability. I was notified that they were no longer taking reservations, so alas, being compliant I hung out on the patio for an hour til my table was ready since the bar was full. After over an hour of waiting, we went to the front desk and asked if our table was ready. They asked, "are you sure you never left the restaurant?" We didn't and we informed her of that. She proceeds to tell us that our pager was not registered and basically we waited for over an hour for nothing. Fortunately, they reconciled with us and gave us next available, unless we specified another seat. We chose with the next available. At the table, the waitress gave us an appetizer on the house, but that's really not much of an excuse for our lost time and lack of accountability on our table. Perhaps next time when we visit the issue will be resolved.

The atmosphere was nice. The location has amazing potential. However the food leaves so much to be desired! We came up for a getaway from Boston and (being Seafood lovers as well as aficionados), chose Maine with the expectation of "aaamazing" seafood. So we started at J's Oyster Bar and discovered they don't do fried. So on the hunt for whole bellies clams for my companion we walked across the parking lot to Dimillos. The view was breathtaking so with baited breath, we descended down the galley by moonlight for our meal. We scored a table right by the fireplace and the patrons were chowing down and friendly. Our waitress was great, so we were pumped! He ordered a fisherman's platter and I ordered crabcakes at the suggestion of the waitress. My crabcakes was formidable, however, the fisherman's platter was horrible. For starters, it was cold. So, cold grease guys is....? And had it been hot, everything looked the same, you didn't know what pieces of seafood you were even eating. Fried is pretty hard to mess up. The waitress said, well I can have them make another, but He wasn't having it. In their defense, they did come over an took it off the bill. I don't know if it was a bad night or the full moon, but the best thing about Dimillos is the view, location, and football size parking lot (they validate for free if you eat there) Guys, I'd rather pay for parking and have a delicious meal!!.
