Dr. Goel is really excellent! He is very patient and careful. Very skillful and knowledge. Also, the staff in the Columbia, MD office are all excellent. Great greetings from the front desk, professional check-up from technicians.SMILE is a almost painless vision correction surgery. Comparing to what my husband did (traditional LASIK), the pain he had after he did his surgery, SMILE is so much BETTER!Dr.Goel is the only ophthalmologist in the area (DMV) that will perform this surgery. 100% recommend!

If I could sum up my experience into one word, it would be "Wow!". Dr. Goel and his staff were very professional, personable, and persistent when seeing to my needs. The way they answered my questions and provided significant information, quite literally, purged all doubt from my mind. On surgery day, everyone was contagiously ecstatic, as they prepped and offered me words of encouragement. The actual procedure was quick, efficient, and free of any discomfort I could already see improvements in my vision immediately after. Ultimately, my experience with Dr. Goel superseded all my expectations, and I'm happy to have put my trust (and vision) in his hands.
