My son Danny is a young adult with High-Functional Autism. His Myopia got worse. I called an eye surgery doctor in Washington, DC to make an appointment, but he retired. His formal assistant referred me to Goel Vision in Columbia, Maryland. I made an appointment with Dr. Goel. As recommended by Dr. Goel, Danny got his PRK Laser Surgery in both eyes. Amazing experience from start to finish! Id been considering LASIK for years but too scared to follow through. Dr. Goel and his team are absolutely incredible, and you can add me to the why didnt I do this sooner club.The evaluation was thorough and gave me a good idea of what to expect. The day of the procedure everyone treated me with kindness and made me comfortable, making me relax and even laugh when I was extremely nervous and terrified. I had zero pain and zero discomfortit was actually an entirely enjoyable experience. We were in the office for less than an hour on surgery day, but nothing at all felt rushed. It was just that efficient.I went home, relaxed and napped a bit, and the next day I had 20/20 vision. Had I known how painless and easy this would be, I would have done it years ago without hesitation. These folks know what they're doing.11/10, would highly recommend.
