Like most people with cataracts I was apprehensive of corrective eye surgery. With Dr. Goel it was a breeze from start to finish. The initial intake was easy, no wait time, professional and courteous personnel and conversations with Dr. Goel who alleviated all my concerns. The entire surgery only lasted about a half an hour and is done with a mild IV twilight sleep where you can hear and answer questions during the procedure. Dr. Goel did an amazing job and I was able to see 20/20 immediately after the surgery. I will be receiving my second eye surgery tomorrow and I am actually looking forward to it knowing how great it will be to see 20/20 out of both eyes. It should also be noted that Dr. Goel is the first choice of the Baltimore Ravens and these professional athletes could choose anyone for eye surgery and they have chosen Dr. Goel... quite an endorsement as these athletes make enough money to go anywhere. Lastly, the surgical center was equally great with competent and caring staff. I particularly appreciated Jack who performed the needle stick for the IV painlessly and administered the anesthesia. I can honestly say the I can not think of anything negative to say about Dr. Goel or the procedure and in fact it was my wife who recommended Dr. Goel as she had a similar good experience many years ago when receiving laser surgery for corrective vision.
