I have found Maine Solar Solutions easy to work with and they met their deadlines. My system is working fine and Im happy with it.

They did exactly what they said they would do, on time and on budget. Installation was fast. Paperwork for state approval was easy thanks to their help. CMP was the slowest step for becoming operational. Now my only bill is the monthly connection fee. My electricity is free each month. Maine Solar Solutions designed 150% of my capacity to account for additional uses (such as future electric car charger), or additional members of the household. This will pay for itself in less than 10 years thanks to recent CMP rate hikes.

All of the staff members at Maine Solar Solutions are very knowledgeable and very good at their jobs. From from the very beginning of the process, every single staff member knew what they were doing. They were very responsive and very communicative. This winter they worked through some pretty adverse weather conditions to get the project completed.I would highly recommend this organization. I am very happy with to do with the installation including communication with the workmen, their product, and the associated software that allows me to monitor my kilowatt hour production and usage.I will acknowledge that some of the aspects of the communication both prior to installation and subsequent to it may be my fault and my failure to pay adequate attention to detail. It would have been helpful to have a singular contact person to communicate with prior to installation. They delegate responsibilities within the company, which is understandable, but makes it hard from the consumer perspective to know who to contact regarding any given issue.Subsequent to installation, I became aware that I would be generating electricity prior to Central Maine Power crediting me for the electricity that I was generating. Again, I again acknowledge that perhaps I shouldve paid more attention to detail, and that this may be more of a CMP problem than a Maine Solar Solutions issue. It has however been difficult to get credit for the electricity I have produced prior to completed certification of our installation. Perhaps, Maine Solar Solutions could devise a mechanism to facilitate this transition process to make sure that no kilowatt hours are donated to the grid.The bottom line; I would use them again without hesitation. By all appearances, they provide high-quality workmanship and product.
