As one who is very climate concerned and with solar panels already on my barn roof, I was interested in Powerwall batteries as back-up power instead of a noisy fossil-fueled generator. Maine Solar Solution s field engineer, Aaron, returned my call and immediately impressed me with his broad understanding of what the batteries could do, but also their limitations and how the power was handled between panels, house, grid and battery. I decided to purchase and the install day arrived sooner than predicted. Two young electricians set to the task; I looked on and asked many questions but these friendly chaps were happy to answer questions and even did a few things above beyond what was required. The work was completed in 1 1/2 days and all was tidied up better than they found it. And when the invoice arrived there were no surprise charges. This company is first rate in my experience.

From initial request for a free solar estimate, through the consultation process, to installation I have been thoroughly impressed with Maine Solar Solutions. Everyone I interacted with was professional and kind. I started this process with very little knowledge about how residential solar worked. The initial consultation with Stefan was extremely informative. He walked me through everything I needed to know and answered any questions I had. After some back and forth dialing in what fit my needs, we went under contract. Maureen was fantastic at arranging all of the necessary paperwork and permits needed for the installation. Assistance with the CMP applications was certainly appreciated. Her communication was top notch. I never felt left in the dark wondering whats next. On installation day, Ian was on time, polite and professional. He walked around the house with me making sure everything they were going to do that day was agreeable. He and his crew did a great job. Overall, Im extremely pleased and wouldnt hesitate to hire MSS again when Im ready to expand my system for an EV.
