Alright... So I'm a procrastinator. I'll admit it. I delayed getting a solar quote, I delayed signing on the dotted line so to speak, and I delayed writing this review.I will honestly say that Maine Solar Solutions does *not* put things off! From my initial contact through the final steps of the process, they were prompt and did what they said they'd do when they said they'd do it; not common these days!They spent time with us talking, asking questions, and most importantly listening. We knew the process and what to expect along the way. We had a contact at the office to ask questions that came up. We truly felt comfortable from start to finish.They came to our house, took some measurements, and shortly thereafter we had several options to choose from. After we made our decision, they guided us along; making sure we knew what to do with Local, State, and utility documentation. We were contacted even earlier than expected for the install date. Which was a great bonus!As I mentioned earlier, they came when they said they would. We had a wonderful install team--each one took the time to check in with us on the day of install and made sure we were good. The team was clean, polite, and efficient. We were up and generating right away.Personally, I've never looked forward to an electric bill coming, but I was so excited to start seeing the difference. And what a difference we saw! We've been live for about 6 months now and really couldn't be any happier! If you're considering solar in any way, shape, or from it would behoove you to give Maine Solar Solutions a shot. You'll be glad you did!

Maine Solar Solutions did a great job installing solar panels on my roof. From the initial visit to the final install, everything went according to plan. Everyone, from the office staff to the final installers, answered all questions clearly and patiently. The installation process was very efficient, and the staff had a wonderful "can do" attitude, when I asked that an additional electrical project be added to the original plan. The software to monitor production is running great and the system is producing more output than I thought possible during short, dreary winter days.

This company has been a wonderful support to us and provided excellent work at our cottage on an island in Maine. Phil Walter is responsive, kind and easy to work with.

Maine Solar Solutions is an expert in solar install. The entire staff are professional, knowledgeable and responsive. They made the entire process of quoting, installing, and filing paperwork a simple task. The final installation looks fantastic and is generating power now.

A company is only as good as the products/services its sells AND the support they offer for these products/services. Maine Solar Solutions is excellent in BOTH of these areas!Recently, we had an issues that the inverter was not registering the correct state of charge (SOC) of the batteries. While this is not a critical issue it could have indicated a much larger problem that, left unattended, could have become quite serious.This issue was addressed immediately and the team of Mark, Nick and Philip-all working together seamlessly-solved the problem.As a homeowner the only way to tap into the technical support from the manufacturers of the system (solar panels, inverter,batteries,etc) is through the company that installed the system. These systems are VERY complicated and VERY integrated and technical issues can be VERY difficult to solve.I can't express how delighted we are with the fact that we did not have to go through the process alone.The aforementioned individuals provided a constant, consistent and professional level of support.
