Not impressed. I had cataract replacement implants. I never saw the same optometrist over many visits. The optometrist hears your issues and then says "tell Dr Nielsen". When Nielsen evetually appears he is obviously in a great hurry, clearly anxious to rush on to his next patient and quite uninterested in what you have to say. I ended up with double vision in my right eye, much worse than before the procedure. Nielsen several times tried to convince me I had 20/20 vision which was laughable and told me my vision was better than before the operation which was a lie. Impossible to get my original eye test, they are obviously scared about litigation. He stated that the double vision was caused by residual astigmatism left as a result of his surgery and could not be treated. Another untruth as I subsequently found out. A simple procedure will remove it.Nielsen Eye Center seems to be a production line process to maximise profit with little concern for the patient. Avoid if you can.

I thought Nielsen Eye Center would be great considering all there testimonials on there page, but thats just bull.I waited for almost 45 min even after i made an appt almost 2 months prior because they were so booked. The 2 girls at the front desk were so rude, and honestly one of them spoke so annoyingly her voice pierced my ears, and when it finally came time for dr.nielsen to see me he was in and out in matter of a blink of an eye, and i had the impression of being rushed. I will never go back but at least i tried it out.

I came here as referred by my parents. However, my parents used to see Dr. Nielsen and when I went I saw someone else. I assumed this was fine and that anyone in the same office as a great doctor would be great. The Dr. I saw was not friendly. I felt rushed and he was even rude. Upon my telling him that my eyes got dry easily and it was hard being near A/C's or fans or when A/C's are on in cars, he proceeded to tell me not to sit right in front of fans[no, he did not seem like he was joking]. I also got a prescription for my eyes after what seemed like maybe 5minutes with me. This Dr. made it seem like my eyes weren't bad and I was being dramatic.
I left there more insecure than I came in and even a little guilty for coming in. That is not how you treat a patient and I will not be back there.

I came here for a routine eye exam. The staff here is pleasant and friendly with a clean and fresh environment. Very immaculate.

I love it when an eye exam does not require the air puff machine. I totally avoid places that uses that because I am a blinkamaniac.

One of the oddities is that the eye drops they used for the glaucoma test left me blurred for more than 12+ hours. I never had that happened to me before. Must be very potent!
