Dr. Moreira's capable-yet-kind demeanor was a game changer for me. Despite looking forward to the possible vision improvement that could result from eye surgery to remove eyelid tissue (blepharoplasty), it was very disconcerting for a squeamish patient like me. After all, only local anesthesia is used. But I am so glad I went through with it. Her communication style (especially knowing how much information to share during the procedure) put me at ease. I couldn't have been more pleased -- both with the surgery and the results!
