These folks are great. Just went to Braintree to use their prescription. Treated very well.UPDATE 08/17/2022: my left eye is awful. This is the second time I will have asked that MY LEFT EYE be checked. Last time the nurse looked at the prescription and said it was way wrong. IT IS and WAS. What gives?

I went to Neilsen eye center in January for LASIK. Overall, the procedure went fine and I have no complaints about the doctors I have seen. But I have been to several follow up appointments to check the progress of my eyes and have never waited less than 45 minutes past my appointment time before being called in for what ends up being a 5 minute appointment. One time a member of the staff came out to let the patients in the waiting room know they were running over an hour behind and gave them the option to reschedule.

My husband went for a eye tearing up problemWe usually go to Pearle vision for routine check ups and was recommended Nielsen eye center by pearle vision. And Dr Morreira looked at him briefly, told him we will find out old retina exams from pearle vision and follow up w you.Nothing was done by nielsen.During appt. check in, patients should be made aware that neilsen specialist are considered tier 2 which means the co pay will be as high 70 dollars. And no calls since 2 plus monthsWhen I called today, they are saying sorry no notes from the doc.Do u want a follow up.So i am like why follow up , what is the reason. Then they call me back and say you will need a glaucoma test, we found it in the notes. So I said, pls take me out of your schedule.I will follow up w a different and new opthalmologist who is tier 1.

I came in for a 2 hour free consultation. They said I was most likely eligible but would need to contact my eye dr. to look over my changes over the years.

They never followed up with me after my lengthy appointment and I never heard from them again. If you want someone to spend anywhere from $5k-8k on something, I think your staff should be able to touch base with someone after they used sick time to do the appointment.

During the appointment, they mentioned I would have to sign up today for that month's deal since the month was ending. It wasn't possible for me to do so since they needed to check with my eye doctor first. They also made themselves sound like the best in the business and that celebrities go there. Um, ok. I think they just want to charge obscene prices and make you think it's worthwhile.
