Think twice before using this office. I had an ok experience for my exam but dealing with the office was a nightmare. I live between two states and needed to see a doctor out of state. Made four calls requesting my info being sent to the doctor in Michigan. I can't recommend this office nor will I ever return. They sent the glass script but not the contact script. I had to wait in the office and make several calls before I got any results. Customer service is not good.

3:15 appointment. Still sitting waiting to see doctor and it's 4:35. Tech was 25 minutes late getting me in for preliminary test. Cattle call. I had surgery 18 months ago putting in new high tech lenses. Should have stuck with glasses. I'm now seeing a 4th doctor since then. I feel like I've been passed around and BS'd. <br><br>I don't mind writing this as I've talked to a customer service person in the past. You never get to talk to the doctor, and excuses are prepared from past cases. Please think Long and hard about doing anything here.

She fooled us. I took my teenager children for a check up and my son got new glasses. After a month the glasses broke and my husband took them for the warranty. The lady in charge of this area told him she would call when the frame arrive to their office because she had to order it from somewhere else. We received a call and when my husband got there she said that she ordered the wrong one and she had to order another frame again. We waited for another few weeks and this time my son arrive home with his new glasses but my husband neither my son noticed the frame is not the same. The glasses looks like they sit down very low on his nose but even if he push them all the way up they look too low and you can barely see his eyes. Instead of walking with his head straight he walks with his sheen so high that seem he is showing off. I don't like that she fooled us. I wanted to call her but I got so angry that I prefer to let you guys know what happened to us so you be aware. The place is clean and the staff is very friendly. The parking lot is comfortable and the location is perfect for us but because of this I'm taking my business somewhere else. Ms. Lady if you read this please know that you fooled my family but you didn't fool me. Thanks.

When I met Dr. Ehrlich for my initial consultation and examination, I liked him and felt comfortable with his diagnosis and recommendation for a punctual snip to relieve the constant tearing of my left eye. He told me both tear ducts were completely closed and the snip would open them and hopefully, take care of the problem. He advised that he would give me a Valium to relax me, then a numbing eye drop and injection before he dialated the tear ducts and did the snip. The day of surgery he informed me that he would only do one of the tear ducts to avoid a later problem of "dry eye".....again, I was comfortable with his recomendation. At the current time, the surgical procedure seems to have been successful which is why I gave him 2 stars; however, I was subjected to a great deal of pain during the procedure which was not addressed. Upon arriving, I was not given anything to help me relax, only an eye drop and a painful injection which seemed to numb my upper lid more than the lower which was the one actually being operated on. From the beginning of the surgery, my discomfort and pain was obvious to the nurse, Doctor and my husband who was also in the room; however, Dr. Ehrlich did not stop or pause the surgery to administer additional medication, nor even ask what degree of pain I was experiencing. His nurse patted my arm and offered her hand for me to squeeze and later appologized that he had hurt me. He showed no compassion for me as a patient. I do not intend to continue my eye care with Dr. Ehrlich and can not and will not recommend him to others. I explained my feelings to Dr. Ehrlich on my follow up visit and expressed my hope that he had learned from this experience and would never subject another patient to this level of treatment.

Been to these doctors before but yesterday spent from 9 am to 11:20 before I saw Dr Frantz. An awful long wait just to be told come back in a year. I was not happy...didn't even get a "sorry for the wait" from him. Oh well...such is life.
