I try to avoid going to the Ft Myers office. When I have had to go there it is always packed in the waiting room and then you get shuffled to another waiting room. The Cape Coral office is much better. The treatment has been good but I prefer the Cape Coral office. You wait longer to get appointments if you needs to see certain doctors that are only there once a month and that is why sometimes I need to go to the Ft Myers office.

Had lens replacement in August. Poor outcome with vision despite following medical instructions thoroughly. Dr. Suggested PRK surgery as I was told that 2% of people have the poor result that I experienced. (this was not discussed up front...) So after the PRK surgery in December I am still wearing corrective lenses. Now I am told that I will require an additional laser procedure that I will have to pay for. After spending $11,000 my vision is slightly better than before, however Dr. Franz told me in the initial interview that I was an excellent candidate for the lens replacement surgery. The result is very different than what he described and Frantz eye care is not providing the care in order to make every attempt to make that happen. I understand that in medicine there are many variables, however I feel that they should follow through at their expense to make the effort to provide the result that they indicated that I should expect. Apparently that will not be the case. I would not have worked with them if I was aware of this and I would not recommend them for any surgical procedure.

Way too long waiting in an overcrowded pre-surgery room prior to laser treatment. The chair I was seated in had old wood sticky arms.

In general, everyone seemed competent, amicable and courteous. The only drawback was that they had more employees and customers than rooms, which made things a bit chaoticSecond visitAfter waiting 2 hours for my appointment I was told that a 2-3 hour wait is normal for Dr. Burch. I don't know what makes them think that the customers have nothing better to do than to waste an entire morning or afternoon waiting on you, but I consider your attitude thoughtless, inconsiderate and unprofessional. As a result of the endless delay I had to leave without seeing the Dr. This is not the first time this has happened. I now have to go find someone else to do business with.
