Dr. Kircher-Carbone was great. Unfortunately she has retired. I have tried to stay at this office but booking has been very difficult. Mi wife and I have had a couple of appointments rescheduled by the office. The latest was today. We arrived for our appointments only to be told that the Dr. was not in and we would have to rescheduled. We had never been called and told the Dr. was not going to be in. I have started a search for a new Eye doctor.

Southwest Florida consist of small towns. If your business is good then word will travel quickly. Rather than spending a large budget on advertising I suggest healthcare business owners invest in hiring quality front office staff. This office is another example of seemingly underaged and apparent under experienced staff giving the business a jaded first impression. Rather than being welcoming and accommodating the staff makes the clients feel as if they are in the principals office. Additionally the wait time was almost two hours for a basic yearly exam. We will be transferring our records to our local Wal Mart optometrist. A place we where good customer service is easily remembered after the experience we received during today's appointment.

Had PRK eye surgery in both eyes. The right one is fine 20/20. The left one however still has significant stigmatism and my vision is blurry in this eye. According to doctors the reasoning for this was inconsistent lasering during the procedure. Because the eye is unevenly shaped the only solution is another 2500 surgery to fix this eye properly. Glasses/contacts are not an option.
