I brought my partner here for cataract surgery, so far a total nightmare. And that's for the first eye. Then they say he has to come back for all the same paperwork for the second eye. Guess it for $$$$

Dr. Feder was nice , however here is a warning they didn't give me!!! While I was waiting to see the doctor, they place you in a waiting room with giant glass windows in front of it so you can WATCH EYE SURGERY being performed live. As a nurse, it didn't really bother me but it was jarring to see and put off red flags of potential HIPPA violations...they must have signed a waiver to be watched while having surgery. However having no warning for other guests may leave them feeling disturbed. Then I was walked to brightly lit room where I waits for the doctor for 50 minutes with no communication. I had just had my eyes dilated so it was giving me a headache to be in such a brightly lit room with no options for dim lighting. Also the facility is BIG I felt bad for those with ambulatory issues being shuffled from room to room walking pretty far distances. There a few positives for this center: the lobby is pretty, free juice, water coffee etc. new building, pretty friendly staff. However there are long wait times (as expected for a big facility like this) I'm not sure if I will come back, but thank you for my new prescription.

Ive been there a few times and I always have to wait over an hour for the doctor to finally show up. I think its bad practice to have the patient wait for so long especially when you have an appointment. Why make an appointment at all? I do have to take time off work to go there, so its kind of rude to play with my time only so they can make more money.Not too impressed with the time management.

Though I like the Drs I have dealt with at Franz Eye, the overbooking and extremely long waits (2.5 hours for a 6 minute contact with the doctor) are ridiculous!! Looking for someone new.

Dr. Burch performed a cornia peal surgery on my eye over 3 months ago. I was told it should be a simple fix for my reoccurring pain in my left eye and that it could possibly even improve my eye sight. After MANY painful returned visits and excuses I am still struggling with pain and my vision is much worse than when I started. I'm now told it could be 6 months or more before my vision clears up. Lots of extra out of pocket expenses for return visits. I'm very disappointed and at this point would not recommend Dr. Burch to anyone.
