    I cancelled my Lasik surgery based on the poor customer service and my friend had even gone there. I gave them an extra star because I thought it was nice that they came out to let me know they were running late for my consult.I told the tech that I would be flying the week after my surgery and she said that was fine and we set up all my appointments. I told a couple of my friends and they said that I can't fly that soon after so I called Frantz and the woman who answered also said I can't fly that soon. She said someone would call me back to schedule my surgery. I did not receive a call back so I called over the weekend and left a message letting them know no one had called me back. Someone did call on Monday morning but I missed their call. I quickly called back and the person who called was unavailable and would call me back. I did not get a call back.I called and cancelled and told the woman all the issues I had and how I didn't feel comfortable having surgery at a facility that doesn't return your calls and that gives incorrect information and she said "Ok, we will cancel everything. Call back if you change your mind." HA! I don't think so.

    Everything went well on my cataract surgery. he is a good doctor, and that is the most important thing, but more than 1.5 years after the surgery sun coast medical, which seems to be associated with Frantz eye care, came up with an additional $840. bill. They did not acknowledged the lack of communication for more than 1.5 years. To me if i owe something they have a responsibility to let me know sooner than more than 1.5 years after the surgery. i thought all the bills were done.

    The actual cataract surgery was great, and very professional , but more than 1.5 years after the surgery I got an extra bill for $840. When I called they claimed they had been sending me bills, but not even the post office is that bad in delivering bills. No issue if they had been up front about costs, but an extra $840. bill after silence for > 1.5 years in unacceptable.

    Im so disappointed with my experience! Im a new patient and waited 3 mos for my appmt as it was the first available. I was sent an appointment confirmation with the address for the location in Cape Coral. This evening at 4:45pm, I decided to map out the distance so I would know what time to leave and my email stated the address 3515 Del Prado Blvd, Cape Coral. They did NOT distinguish whether North or South. When I typed in 3515 Del Prado Blvd., my maps brought up an area located in the North Cape all the way towards Hwy 41 and North Fort Myers. I thought the location was in Cape Coral closer to where I live so when I called I asked the operator if it was too late to cancel my appointment for 7:45 AM tomorrow as I didnt realize how far it was. I did not want to be charged a no-show or cancellation fee and it was 4:45 PM this evening so she was in a hurry to get me off the phone. I asked the operator if I was correct that the location was on Del Prado in the Cape all the way by Highway 41 and she did not correct me. She said it was in the Cape on Del Prado. I asked several times and she kept on saying the same thing. She went ahead and canceled my appointment and and hung up. I had thought the location was closer to my home so I took steps to go onto the website and I see the actual address is 3515 Del Prado Blvd. SOUTH. My email confirmation did not distinguish that it was south so here I am with the canceled appointment that Ive been waiting for for three months with a possible cataract. My fault for not going to the website prior to contacting the office. I wouldve thought the operator wouldve given me a little more information that it was South Del Prado. My advice would be to update your email appointment confirmation to indicate your correct address is 3515 Del Prado Blvd. SOUTH so other people can avoid this confusion.

    After 2 exams my glasses are still.not clear. Called with my concern the receptionist told me I would have to come back a third time get my eye dilated again and pay out of pocket. Why did I not hear come back in and we will look at your glasses? I paid cash. Glasses are still under warrantee and now they are useless to me. Not going back ever. Very upset.
