Had a new patient appointment. The lady at the front desk had issues trying to validate my insurance. She only tried to find it on her computer. She never tried to call the customer service number on my card to verify insurance. After I got my insurance company's customer service on the line I verified they are in network. Even though they are in network with my insurance because it's not billed through a separate vision plan but straight through my medical plan the lady at the front desk said they could not process it. When asked about paying out of pocket she said that was not a good idea and that they would charge me extra fees for that. In addition to being told that I had 15 mins to figure out my insurance or they would have to make reschedule an appointment I had waited 3 weeks for, It seemed to me that the lady at the front desk did not want my business because it would require her to do a little extra work that was not a cookie cutter fill it in on her computer program. This is extremely poor customer service and proved to me these people are NOT the type of people I can trust to take care of my vision needs.

Getting an additional star because I loved the doctor and the tech that did my exam the last time I was there. Very patient and understanding of my situation. BUT the front desk is a hot mess. Very rude and short with people. I was in the waiting room for 45 mins this morning before they even got around to asking for my new insurance, that they were informed about on the check in sheet. Then proceeded to tell me they dont take my new insurance, despite me calling prior and asking. After 30 mins of waiting in the waiting room, I double checked with front desk to be sure they knew I had new insurance before I was called back. They informed me the back didnt even know I was there yet and it was already well past my appt time.

The clinic is full of people running around but none of them can stop and address my eyesight concerns. However after I posted my disappointment on line I got called within an hour by a new staffer, not a doctor, asking how I was doing.

no where near advertised results. beware. Glad I don't cheaters to read, but middle and distant vision worse
