Clearview Eye and Laser

I needed a new optometrist, and I used my providers preferred list and chose Clearview. My initial visit was fine. It felt a bit impersonal and rushed. After the eye screening, I went downstairs to pick out some spectacles. After looking through their frames, I picked a pair I liked, and sat down with a woman and she filled out a worksheet of prices/copays. Today I went back today to pick up the glasses and was not happy with what I was handed. I have a strong prescription for being near sighted. The edges of the frames looked like they were about as thick as a 1st Gen iPhone. Nor was it polished or even bevelled. The lenses looked rather unfinished in the setting. I voiced my concern stating the thickness was unacceptable. I took my current glasses off and showed him what I was hoping to see. He spoke to his manager. The manager was quite rude and I felt he was trying to intimidate me into accepting the fact I'm blind as hell (my words) and deserve to have bottle caps for lenses. One thing here is true, "I'm blind as hell". If I order a high index lens, give me a high index lense. If I pick out a frame that is going to highlight the thickness of the lense you should bring that up rather then just focusing on selling me the antireflective coatings. In the end they offered to remake the lense in a higher index. As well as a new frame,. When I asked what he would suggest he asked me to go away and that he didn't want my business.
