I travelled 3 hours to see Dr.Chow, he denied me as a patient because I live too far from his office, he said he did not want to step on any toes with my current eye doctor which knew I was there and sent a referral for me to be seen there. They say they never received anything and it was sent over twice. I have been suffering with RCE for years and I finally said enough was enough, I did my research and showed that Dr.Chow was the best around, I read on him for hours... to be denied. I will NEVER go back there and I will NOT ever recommend anyone there. Horrible bed side manor (chair side if you will haha), all the staff there had horrible attitude at the front desk as well. I was uncomfortable the whole time I was there. All around, not a good experience.

On a saturday post operation check up. Dr arrived late. Dr was hostile and sullen. She was condescending and does not understand post operation office visit is a anxious moment for me. She should treat patients with patience.

Husband has been having blurred vision for a while now. Cleared up when he saw the doctor. Was Dr. Verb existing patient and he couldnt see anything wrong with my husbands left eye. Blurry vision happens in the morning and doesnt clear up for a few hours. Called today to get him in, he had the blurred vision at the moment and took longer to clear up so they can see whats happening while the blurred vision was happening and the male tech that called me back said to me this isnt a walk in clinic and they cant see him today and doesnt sound like an emergency. Will be Switching offices for sure! I dont feel they take patients seriously! I worked for an ophthalmologist for 12 years and we always brought in emergencies no matter how busy we were! Never going back and never referring anyone to this office!Went to Kresge eye institute since Verbs office doesnt accept same day urgent/emergency situations. My husbands pressure in his left eye was 53!! Thanks Verb for taking my husbands condition seriously! He will also be having surgery after the pressure comes down with the medication he was prescribed. Do not trust this office with your eye sight! Will never be back and will definitely not refer anyone to this office! For the office, do not reach out to us, we will not answer nor respond And we most definitely will not be calling your office!

If you work, don't bother with the Madison Heights location. They have no late hours, and by late I mean I can't get an appointment after 2:15pm. Since I get off work at 2:00pm., and every road in Michigan is closed or under construction, it is impossible for me to get there on time. Now I have to leave work early (unpaid), to make it on time. I can't afford to not get paid. If I don't get paid, I can't pay for treatments.
