    Vitals
Anonymous Via Vitals - Nate Kleinfeldt, M.D.
Spent less than 2 minutes with me. He was very rude. He cut me off while I was trying to ask him a question concerning my eyedrops, turned to his assistant and said "non-compliant." I'm not interested in seeing him again. The rest of the staff was extremely professional.

I have to only give one star because the doctor is the most important part of the process. The staff was wonderful. I couldn't have been more pleased until the doctor entered the room. My first impression? He was on some type of stimulant. Hyper, nervous, couldn't look anyone in the eye and very hurried. He asked me about things that were clearly in the file. Which told me he spent no time looking at my chart before entering the room. HIs hand was literally on the door handle to exit almost the entire time. I was at the office for an hour and he was in the room for maybe 5 min. He argued with me. Told me everything I knew for the last 40 yrs was wrong. He didn't allow me to finish sentences or thoughts before interjecting and finishing my sentences. Finally I stopped asking questions because it was evident he didn't want to be there. I was asked if I wanted to schedule an annual appointment. I declined. He may be a genius. I don't know? His bedside manner detracts more than enough for me. Based off his behavior and treatment, it is this reviewer's opinion this doctor does not see his patients as customers and has the typical big headed ego, and medical entitlement attitude that prevent many medical providers to acknowledge they are also service providers and we are also customers. If I had to pay for this service out of pocket, I would have asked for a discount for poor service. Of course doctors know their income is guaranteed through insurance which does not motivate some providers to see patients as customers or provide good customer service. My advice to the doctor: Slow down, see less patients, you have two ears and one mouth for a reason. Spend more time LISTENING! And don't interrupt! Ironically I can find the same feedback on here stemming years. This assisted in sealing the deal that this was not the doctor for me. Don't enable and keep doctors like this in business. Go somewhere else, unless you like being treated like a paycheck and not a person.

Your going to be in and out if this office, which I did appreciate, at the time. Dr. Kleinfeldt will give you exactly 3 minutes, no more no less.He does the most cataract surgeries in SE Michigan and he cranks them out making a lot of cash, I suspecting. It might be his driving force. That is, certainly, what it looks like. When he does a fine job, thats great. My case was not so fortunate. I went blind in the first eye with something called an epiretinal membrane. It is a complication which may or may not be from techniques in surgery. I get that. However, this man lacks any kind of grown up sense of responsibility. He came in and admired his fine work and told me it was Looking good. I was legally blind in that eye! No compassion, no time to spend with me. The follow up post op was lacking . I was seen by a different doctor because Dr. Kleinfeldt went on vacation when he was done with my surgery. That Doctor told me the eye was ok, even though I could not see the first day post op. When I called the office back, they told me Id have to wait two weeks until he returned. No follow up with a different doctor to look for a cause or start treating the complication, which was quite serious. The preop teaching was done by the lady at the desk who took my $2500, not by the physician. It was a terrible experience.I think this man does not care about his patients, he never once bothered to call me by name. Id been his patient for years, human interaction is not his thing. What about the Hippocratic oath that you took at Wayne State when you graduated? My advice: Stick with a teaching institution, if you have any sense. Steer clear of this place!I am not the first one to say these things about him, I have read similar reviews on this page. I should have taken them to heart. My name is Michelle Tocco RN

I would give a zero if I could. I was ten minutes late to an appointment because of construction and they wanted me to reschedule for another day. Doctor was supposed to check for glaucoma but will not to eye exam for glasses. First visit a year ago I waited for half an hour listening to the dr trash talk an employee with another employee. Unprofessional and inconsiderate.
