    We went on a random recommend from someone we met on the plane. This place sounds cheesy but it is a blast. <br><br>We walked in the front door and it was packed - the line moved quickly and the service was excellent. I was surprised how many local people I met while waiting. The prices were good and they give you the option of broiled lobster (my fav) opposed to boiled. They do a wonderful crab stuffing option. After a few cocktails, I was ready to wander off and call it night

    Very nice boatlike dining . Very popular and long waits but you can poke around the waterfront with your pager . Seafood delicious.

    I'm not writing about the dinner menu (though its good) but the happy hour is worth writing about, good atmosphere and good, free food!!! i think i was drinking 3.00 gearys too, i had several of them and cant remember, but I know they werent too much. good spread of food too, pizza, fried shrimp, little mexican things, soup/chowder, nachos, potato wedges, great in the winter, better in the summer. good place to start a friday when you havent eaten anything since lunch and you want to head right out, but dont feel like dealing with a restaurant.

    Not worth the hype I wanted to see what this floating restuarant was all about, so I went there with my family for a birthday dinner. The service was average, as was the food. It was really nothing to write home about as there are so many other seafood restaurants in Portland that are so much better. The big attraction to Di Millo's is that its a floating restaurant, but once you get inside to boat it just seems like you're in any other restaurant, its just not a special as its made out to be.
