Been here a few times and the lazy lobster is awesome. They always have fresh bread, and the clam chowder is the best i've ever had anywhere. Highly recommend those 2 menu items.

This place is wonderful! Although silly me, I was concerned that the restaurant would sink the one night we happened to be dining there. I enjoyed my calarmari, french onion soup, steak! Our server was so nice and that always helps with creating a more enjoyable dining experience! I'm so glad I took her suggestion to try out the blueberry cobbler a la mode. Blueberries from Maine are soooo sweet! They are really cute too... smaller than the typical blueberry. I highly recommend this restaurant if you plan to take a trip to Portland, Maine!

My boyfriend and I loved coming here for dinner while we were visiting from Boston. Service was fast and very friendly; each server leaves a card with his/her name on your table. We did make a reservation for Sunday evening (this was Sunday of MLK weekend), but the place was pretty empty so we probably didn't need one. I imagine it is busier in the warmer months.

My boyfriend ordered a cup of clam chowder and we both ordered salads: me the house salad, him the iceberg wedge salad which was covered in at least 4 strips of crumbled bacon (the real stuff!) and fresh tomatoes. His entree was a shrimp scampi and I got the broiled (with a light butter cracker crust) haddock, shrimp, and scallops mixed plate. Everything was great - the scallops were the tastiest, and if I went back I might just get those. They had a special that night of broiled scallops with honey butter which I would have loved to try.

The best part? Soup, salad, 2 glasses of wine, and two seafood entrees came to about $80 (not including tip) at this very nice restaurant. Would have paid twice that in Boston to be sure! I'd definitely come back!

Fun Time Six of us went for dinner. The wait time was one hour. I was nervous since I had read the reviews and they were not very flowery. The night was beautiful weather. We sat out on the deck and enjoyed the night. The waitress was casual, friendly, and efficient. The crab stuffed haddock was a generous portion, a little dry but tasty. The vegetables on the side were parboiled or on the steamer, nothing special. The baked potato undecorated. My mother ordered Lobster Stew that she thought was delicious. My husband had seafood in pasta which was very good. One son ate the twin lobsters, he enjoyed them. We had a good time. Nice place.
