Traveling back from Bar Harbor to Boston, we decided to stop in Portland for dinner. On vacation, we were shocked to see how crowded Portland was at 9:00pm. Not seeing any place to park, we just pulled into a lot ($6/hr) but the attendant said it's free if you eat @ Dimillos's. We looked at the menu and walked in. The hostess said about an hour for a table, but if you find a table at the bar area... Luckily we did and sat right down. We ate outside (aside from the occasional diesel fume from the boats) and enjoyed a great meal. We ordered a flat bread appetizer (which was very good) and after nice break, our meals came out. I had the Lobster Mac & Cheese and my wife ordered.... My only regret was not being able to take the leftovers.

This place has such a fun and romantic ambience! We came here a while ago but always think about it because it was such a great dinner. Our server was fantastic, helping my husband choose some amazing local beer, and helping me with the menu because I had food allergies. His suggestion was great and the food was delicious. We spent the night eating while watching the sunset over the water. Highly recommend it.

I know it's used to often but.... OMG. The lobster stew was to die for. And the lazy lobster dinner we split with the lobster papadelle special was delicious. Worth the price. But then again it is lobster.
