Awesome location and restaurant design. At first sight, I thought it would be a gimmick with overly-priced, mediocre food. I was very wrong. There was a long wait, so we spotted some seats at the bar since we were starving. The bartenders know how to make a steep, delicious drink. We ordered the steamers, lobster mac and plank scallops. The steamers were very clean, and the lobster mac was a MUST. We didn't love the scallops, but when combined with the lobster mac it was perfect. The lobster mac is their own take on the dish - made with penne, topped with cracker crumbs, and a not too thick or overly cheesey sauce. It came with garlic bread - perfect for cleaning up the dish! Will be returning on our next trip to Portland.

I've had a number of business dinners at Dimillo's, With a guest speaker and anywhere from 10 to 30 guests. Steve could not have been more accommodating, and more pleasant to work with. The staff was completely on point, very professional, and the food was wonderful. I definitely recommend stopping in for a meal if you are visiting Portland for this unique experience of dining on a boat on the water.
