Not sure about all the doctors in this practice, but my experience with Dr. Seif was far from pleasant. He has absolutely no bedside manner, arrogant and self absorbed. He barely looks at you when he comes into the room He was 20 minutes late and I was his first patient)..He sits with his back to you while asking you questions and typing answers on the computer. When asked if a lid lift could be done on an eye that has progressively gotten smaller from the Chemo I am on...his response was" You have bigger things to worry about like staying alive."<br>That may be true but I felt it was a very rude answer.

I am not the least bit surprised by the one and two star reviews. I must say I think the quality of medical care here is superb! However, I have seen the word "factory" used here and I must agree. I can conform just about every complaint about the administrative staff and, especially, their very offensive, rather predatory, billing practices against Medi-Cal patients in particular who seem to be the bulk of their practice. Though I have been a patient here for years I will seek a new service provider. Their overreaching billing practices have become intolerable. Make it absolutely clear by annotating the "Patient conditions, consent... " form that you agree to be responsible for uncovered services *only* after they reveal them in writing before or at the time of service and which you approve of in writing! This is a perfectly reasonable request. I can not be more emphatic in my warning. Demand a copy of that agreement with your annotation of understanding. Otherwise they have been known to slap patients with a big surprise bill many months after they did the service without disclosure of uncovered charges and without clear written consent. Please be very careful in these regards and put it in writing. Seriously!

Wish I read these reviews before trying this place out. Came in with a serious problem with my eye, and was pleasantly surprised that there was a last minute appointment available the same day. The waiting area is a huge zoo, but it seems organized enough. There is a person that meets you when you arrive with an ipad to check you in and provides you with paperwork. <br><br>Met with Dr. Zaidi around the time of my appointment, who was nice, but apparently shouldn't be doing surgery... He went ahead and preformed a minor eye operation with a student alongside him. I was happy that they were able to do it on the same day, and they even gave me stuff to put in my eye after surgery. That was the only treatment instructions I was provided with. A few days later, the eye problem resumed, so I called and made another appointment but this time with Dr. Seiff who specializes in these situations. He had his student see me first, and he seemed very surprised that Dr. Zaidi performed the surgery. He also seemed surprised that a particular injection wasn't given, but I told them I thought it was given as I remember him mentioning it when he injected me with something. They decided to do the injection again, and then said to throw out what the previous doctor gave me, as I don't need it, and said I should have been given something else. He had a prescription filled at a pharmacy...<br><br>And the problem happened again. So I went to an entirely different doctor who gave me a full treatment plan for four days following the procedure. Problem solved! Not impressed with this office at all. I felt like a number, there were so many other patients there, and I never had any clarity as to what was going on. I suggest going somewhere else.

I've never been there as their staff is incapable of handling basic tasks like scheduling an appointment. Called, was told there was an appointment available today but the person was either stone deaf or had a bad handset, after asking me to repeat my name for the 5th time I asked to speak to another person, which she was bafflingly unable to comply with. So I hung up, called back, after nearly ten minutes I finally got another human being on the line & she said they had no appointments available. Idiots!
