I've only had experience with Dr. Fung, who is wonderful, but apparently not on the fulltime staff anymore. She's why I didn't give only one star.

The administrative aspect of this practice is really terrible. The billing department has been using the wrong code for the [monthly] procedure, so every month a rejection letter comes from insurance. I've tried 3-4x to get this corrected, but have given up. Eventually they seem to work it out, but what a waste.

Someone described the place as a "mill" - yes, it's very busy, noisy, and hectic.

Many staff are unprofessional and unhelpful.

If you have a choice in the matter, go somewhere else for your eye care to save yourself administrative headaches.

I like Dr. So. He's terrific. The staff isn't very friendly and the wait times are ridiculous.

I had an appointment here with an eye doctor last week. It was a waste of my time because while I checked in early for my appointment, the doctor was "at least 30 minutes behind schedule." Then, I met another patient in the waiting area who had already been waiting 30 minutes for her appointment, and was still waiting. Clarified with the receptionist that there were actually four people ahead of me, so I cancelled and left. I hope this overbooking practice gets managed, or this business will be losing customers. This business just lost return customers of me and my spouse. (He also had a very long wait time a year ago.) Two stars instead of one because the receptionists were honest and doing their best.

I made an appointment to get a routine eye exam, and this location seemed to be the closest to my house, based on in-network referrals from my insurance.
Cons:
- The facility is under construction so the lobby feels cramped and can be loud.
- Parking in the area is very difficult, unless you decide to overpay to park in the garage (no thanks).
- Wait time for a SCHEDULED appointment was nearly 1 hour. After I was escorted to a room, waited another hour for the Dr to show up.
- Extremely minimal communication from staff about why it's taking so long to see your doctor for an exam that takes no more than 10 minutes (excluding time needed to dilate pupils).
- Misdiagnosis of my results, leading to a $200 bill, which I had to get corrected, resulting in a $15 co-pay.

Pros:
- They're close-ish to my house...

Hmm hardly seems worth it.

Dr Limschedules 10-12 people at the same time as a result one waits hours to see himadditionally I had cataract surgery with him and my eyes have never felt right since then: the scar tissue at place of inserting the new lenses is so thick on both eyes that I see parenthesis in my field of vision; I'm afraid the factory attitude of the office carried over into the surgery room.I am in the process of trying to rectify what was done. And when I went to my optometrist for glasses, I was informed that they no longer refer patients to Pacific Eye Associates.
