I do not go here for optometry appointments to get glasses and contacts. I go somewhere else for that. However, I've seen Dr. Reader for medical issues I've had with my eye. While you will probably have to wait a long time and the front desk can be frustrating at times, I've received good medical care here and would come back.

Yes the front office is horrible but what do you expect in the city: you hire the few no-college-degree people that don't display horrible tats or needle marks: same hiring dilemma as Starbucks but at least this job has the word "medical" in it so it carries a higher status in the eastern European and Asian social incubators.

But we all go to the doctor to see the doctor, not the cheap back-end support machinery. So back on point: Dr. Sung was great. Knew her stuff, no BS and despite the super busy human-mill like environment she did pull my eye lash which was stuck in an awkward place and I walked out a happy camper. Thank you Jenn!

I will give them more business if I need to see an eye doctor again. Don't be shocked by the front-office stuff. This is the reality in the city. What matters most is the back-end product delivery. The physicians. In my experience the product was excellent.

Dr. So practices at one of the busiest places I've ever been to, however, he does take his time with you. Due to a family history of eye problems I visit Dr. So and he makes sure my skull doesn't crush my eye balls. Awesome! Not sure if prescribes the devil's lettuce if that's what you are looking for.
