Just 2 days after cataract surgery. This is my first eye, so I dont know what my expectations should be. My vision is still a little cloudy in my right eye. My right eye feels scratchy.I like to know the details behind what is going on. I would recommend Heaton Eye Associates provide more details. For example in my post op session, I asked how it was determined what lens to use. They looked up a survey I had filled out early in the process. They use that survey to determine the lens to use. I think Heaton should go over the criteria used to determine the lens with each patient and the patient have more input on deciding what lens to use. It is hopefully a once in a lifetime occurrence so more input would be welcome.I am still not sure what the process is for billing my Medicare Advantage plan. I have left a voicemail a couple of days ago, but havent received a call back yet.

My first visit was a referral because after my surgery my right eye was blurry. My Dr tried everything and made this referral. After a battery of tests by Dr Dossey he determined the prostate drug I take did something to the eye during surgery now too much light may be coming in. My left eye surgery went well. I was given a script to get glasses to wear. Thats not what I wanted to do. On my return trip it was obvious if I didnt fill the script I was screwed. So I decided to fill the script. He also prescribed some eye drops to put one drop in the right eye late in the afternoon each day. Due to bad weather I have not gotten to the store to get my glasses or use my drops. My question is, if the prostrate medication caused this why did Dr Golds office do my surgery? So now I wait to see whats going to happen. I had no problems before now I may have this blur the rest of my life. Im not unhappy with Dr Dossey he didnt do the surgery.
