    Prescription for eye glasses was not correct. Should have been different for each eye. I have monovision. The right eye is used for reading, the left for distance. Need glasses to tweak vision for really small print or middle vision.

    Fine place but hold on to your wallet. Basic cataract surgery 4, THATS 4 times higher than another highly reputable Doctor out of pocket. AFTER INSURANCE

    This Eye Institute is big, busy and yes, can be assembly like. Dr Desai is, in my opinion, their saving grace; an amazing, gifted eye surgeon and a genuinely caring person.The institute staff ranges from knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and compassionate to cold, indifferent or down right rude with attitude problems. <br>My biggest issue was the apparent communication breakdown between staff and patient. A lot of the info I got upon my first visit about the surgery didn't apply to what I needed to do/have with me at surgery time. To add to my confusion, in several cases the eye drop directions on the paper I got from the institute and the directions on the prescription bottles were completely different. I mentioned this several times, but no one seemed concerned and told me to follow their instructions. I also wound up with a prescription they ordered (and I paid for!) but never got used. No one could tell me what happened there.<br>I'd give them 5 stars if they worked on the communication/information part and took a look at the serious range of behaviors within their staff.
