This was my first visit with Dr. Martino. Waited over one hour ,in my car or outside before being called. I have no negative comments about the doctor . She appears to efficient and well versed in her profession.

I have been going to The Eye Institute for years with no issues. I had an eye appointment with Dr. Sacksteder in July and received my new prescription. Due to CoVid regulations, I ordered glasses online and when I received them, I could not see and everything was blurry. Initially, I thought it was the glasses company error and sent the glasses back. Then I went to an actual store as I have progressives and wanted my pupil distance measured properly for the lens. Again, I could not see out of these glasses. Finally, I went back to have my eyes rechecked and my prescription was very different (one eye went from -.25 to -1.25). Dr. Sacksteder as well as the office staff was very pleasant and gave me the new prescription, but I'm not sure what happened here. This process was a little frustrating as glasses had to be returned. Luckily the company replaced the lenses without issue....but this could have been a costly mistake. It is September and I am glad I can now see out of my new glasses.

Took me 3 visits to get my eyes check, first they told me i need cataract surgery, then Dr. Kane told I dont need it yet, later in my third visit in 6 months I aked Dr. Simms for the prescriptions for my new glasses and the staff in the front told me that i will have t paid $40.00 or the prescription. In my first visit the billing was done incorrect so the Institute owe me $64.90 I asked for the refund of the credit. My first visit was on January 31 2020. After numerous calls finally i got my refund on the second week of July. Never took me 3 visits to the Dr. to check my eyes and the wait 5 months to get my refund. The Drs are good but the staff in Accounting Dept. do a terrible job.
