    Great experience overall for a routine eye appointment. Check-in was easy and staff was very friendly. I got called back 15 min after my scheduled appt, but they were quite busy (after lunch). The tech/nurse doing my initial eye exam/contact fitting was skilled and the machines were impressive. I met with Dr. Matthew Marshall after for an additional exam; he was very personable and even though he was clearly busy with all the patients, it didn't feel rushed. Optic shop folks were also friendly and helpful. Would recommend!!

    Easiest thing Ive ever done! Im mad at myself for being so nervous! I would pay twice as much to have Lasik done. Very, very, worth it. One of the best decisions Ive ever made.

    My husband had lasik eye surgery a year ago at Heaton Eye Associates. It was scary wondering if it was going to work, how well it will work, and how long it would take to recover. We own our own business so there isn't any time for "down time". With several appointments, he had to have his eyes dilated which makes for a hard day at work. The day of surgery was the worst for him. It did hurt while recovering. My suggestion is to take Tylenol with you so you have it. I had to stop at Walgreens and get him some. Prior to surgery, he could not see if he didn't have his contacts in. It was all he remembered so he didn't know any different and wondered if it was even worth it to have the surgery. He is so happy he did it now. His sight it better than 20/20 now. The only regret he has is that he did not do it sooner. Through the care credit card, we were able to pay it out with 0% interest. The staff and doctors were great, very friendly and helpful.

    I received Lasik from Nickols yesterday, and I am a totally new person today! From the time I walked in the door to leaving with "my new eyes" it was a fantastic experience! Highly recommended!
