I am a new patient and just relocated from another state. I have glaucoma and cataracts which require specialized care. Recently my vision has degenerated resulting blurred double vision in my dominant eye. I researched for the most qualified medical care I could find in East Texas. I was impressed with the patient reviews of Heaton Eye Associates (HEA) and their doctors and staff. I had all of my previous medical records transferred to HEA, thanks to Sunny who, upon learning of my circumstances, went out of her way to assist me and arrange an appointment ASAP!I was not disappointed on arrival. Dr. Dosseys Medical Technician was extremely patient and conducted a thorough series of tests despite the challenges of my blurred double vision. She persisted until she was confident we got optimal results. Very impressive dedication and work ethic! Thank you, Cheyenne!Dr. Dossey was just as impressive. He had reviewed my medical records and the results of Cheyennes tests. He asked pertinent questions and conducted examinations of my eyes. Afterwards he explained that My glaucoma was advancing and was acerbated by my cataracts. He advised me of several options but said he wanted to set up another appointment to do a more careful evaluation of what may be the best option for my condition. He did not want rush into anything. He prefers to take the time necessary to ensure that we elect the best treatment for my eyes. I am very impressed and look forward to being a patient of Heaton Eye Associates under care of Dr. Dossey and his excellent and friendly staff!

Both my husband and his mother have used Dr. Heaton for years and have been very satisfied. My husband had worn glasses all his life, and after Dr. Heaton did his cataract and LASIK surgery, he no longer needs glasses. When I recently found I would need cataract and astigmatism surgery, I wouldnt think of using anyone else!

I was experiencing a great deal of light sensitivity and mild pain in my right eye. Since I was in town I made a phone call to Heaton Eye and the team made it possible for me to get in to see Dr. Heaton. Everyone was very professional and caring. The young ladies at the screening table, front desk attendants, technicians in the room and check out desk were Great!! I thank God for all of you and commend you for the spirit of excellence..

I have been a patient of Dr. Adam P. Dossey for thirteen years now. Im always pleased with how smoothly everything runs during my office visits. It begins with the pleasant greeting when I arrive and ends when I check out.All employees are very professional and pleasant to talk to.I never have any complaints with this practice , period.
