This was my first visit to Eye Associates of Tallahassee in >20 years. Needless to say, much has changed and it is not all for the better. At least to me, the current check in process left a lot to be desired as it seemed very impersonal and took a long time (My name was finally called almost an hour after my scheduled appointment time). That being said, I still found the overall experience to be very good because everything changed after I was taken back. Each of the staff members who interacted with me were just great and one even apologized for the wait. Dr. Ko was also fantastic. Various assessments were performed efficiently and scheduling my future procedure was easy.

It took me 3-4 months to get a new patient appointment.Checking in took a long time as there was a line with three people ahead of me and only two check in personnel. After the check in process everything went great after that from the technicians to the doctor.The facility is very nice, spacious and up to date. Personnel encountered were friendly.

The wait to see the doctor was an hour and half but it was worth it to see Dr. Ford! He was such a kind, pleasant and patient man and took time to talk and listen. Which wasnt my previous experience with Dr. Weaver who was matter of fact and seemed to have no time for niceties. The staff were all young interns and while most were awesome the girl who did my intake was not friendly or pleasant but went about her business very systematically and akin to a robot. The rest of the staff were friendly, and kind and the lady at the optical department was especially wonderful. Definitely recommend Dr. Ford!
