Back in 1999 I had Lasik done on both eyes, and it has been great hands down. I was warned about later in life, how I would no doubt need reading glasses, and that time has arrived. But the time I have had it's worth the trade off. One not so good thing though, not sure it happens with everyone but my nighttime driving suffered greatly, glare is a very bad thing now for me, so much that I don't drive at night if at all possible. Sometimes I wear sunglasses to help, only when cars are coming. I am going to ask them to see me and see if I might be able to do something about that!

I have been a patient for over 40 years and my husband and kids are patients, too. The staff is professional, thorough and courteous. I had Lasik 13 year ago and recently, blepharoplasty. Both procedures were explained in detail and successful.

Dr. Berman and his staff have been caring for my daughter for three years now. Our appointments were every 6 months until her eyes became adjusted to the correction prescription glasses and now we go each year. I have never been met with rude staff nor felt rushed. The dialation process does take time and since he is dealing with children there may be some longer than anticipated wait times but there is a TV and play area for the children. I suggest to Bring some snacks and waters but if you forget there is a vending machine downstairs near the optical shop. Dr. Berman is a professional optometrist and he knows what he is doing, I greatly appreciate his expertise!!! I feel it is the parents job to know how to soothe and calm your child under dire circumstances so that the Dr. Can do the job he intends to do and have never had trouble with this practice even though I have an over anxious child when faced with uncertainty. Play some games or read some books about the eye Dr. before going as this may help prepare your little one for this necessary event
