I don't recommend Dr. Loden if you are looking for a doctor to help you make informed decisions on an elective surgery. Price of procedures? How necessary is one procedure compared to another? He will act offended and proceed to tell you, in a condescending manner, that based on those questions you are making poor decisions. If you do still decide to use him as a surgeon, I hope you are 100% happy with the results. If not, he will act as though it is your fault for not being happy with his work.

Very disappointed with the way the insurance was handled. Since the claim was filed incorrectly, they have refiled and part of the bill has been paid but still waiting for Medicare to pay another portion. Meanwhile my eyes are getting worse and I need surgery on both eyes but office staff at Loden say they will not schedule or do any more procedures until remainder of bill is paid in full. I have no complaint with Dr. Bailey, I really liked him. My complaint is with insurance being filed incorrectly and my never receiving a bill until January of this year (7 months later). This is the first time I have had any problem with Loden Vision Center. I have already delayed my eye surgery until now due to my husband's major medical problems.

Lasik has many hidden cost, still have to wear glasses. Many days lost going for office visits. Dry eyes, have to use drops hourly.
