I had Lasik surgery one week ago at Loden in Green Hills. The actual surgery went well and they minimize any discomfort. It was all really easy and I was able to have surgery within two weeks of calling to make my first appointment. The only issue was with the pricing. Initially, the sales coordinator offered me a discount of 15%. I was going to shop around but decided to go ahead since it was close to the national average price wise. I later looked at the numbers she wrote down and realized the discount was not 15%. That discount only applies to part of the price despite saying the discount was on the Lasik "package". I asked about it directly before the surgery and the sales person that day was not going to budge. I asked if they could meet me half way and she said she would check. I wasn't going to walk away after prepping for surgery and I'm guessing she knew that. I have not heard back since. Otherwise, it was a great experience. Just be aware that they are sales people trying to make a sale.

My lasik surgery went great! No complaints on the results or procedure itself except during the procedure the doctor called me by a different name. He did however walk me through step by step and calmed my nerves! My main concern is with scheduling, every appointment I have been to (3 total) I have waited 30 min before being seen. I even had to wait 30 min to get dilation eye drops in my eyes to then wait another 30 min for my eyes to dilate before completing the necessary tests.

2nd visit. I'm always 10 to 15 min early but Dr is always 15 to 30 min past my appointment time. They open at 8am and they say she is here. If I'm the 1st appointment why do I have to wait 30min. So disrespectful. The disrespect comes with a smile. Everyone is nice even with the lack of respect for patients time. Don't let me get to talking about their computer issues.

Walked in, no appointment, and was able to be seen in under 30 mins, great. The "wait time" came after the tech checked my prescription. It was over an hour until the Dr. was able to do the exact same thing, not great. Also, the glasses store is apparently a separate entity. The selection is pricey, the service is terrible and the return time was 15 days... Which became 19 because they close before I get off work and are not open on Saturdays. This part gets 1 star.
