I am so grateful for the cataract surgery that I had at the Kovach Eye Institute. Everyone was so accommodating and and friendly. Put my mind at ease. So happy that I made the decision to have it done.

My experience at Kovach Eye Institute was amazing. I first went with my wife to the Elmhurst facility to have her eyes evaluated. While there I decided that I should have my eyes checked as I had been seeing halos around lights when I drove at night. We met with Dr. Kovach who could not have been nicer. He examined my eyes and related that my vision was far worse than my wifes. We decided to do the cataract surgery on her first. He then did both of my eyes. My vision now is excellent. I can see clearly and no longer need glasses to either read or drive. I now have 20/20 vision. My wife is still under his care for an astigmatism. That will be corrected in the near future. We are extremely happy with everything about Dr. Kovachs practice. He is hands on and has an exceptional support staff. We have been to 3 of his 4 facilities and are always impressed by the professionalism of Dr. Kovach and his people. I highly recommend this practice .

I have been really happy with everything except the wait time at the optical centers. Honestly, if you have the time they are worth it (but it can get VERY stressful if you have somewhere to be). Everybody is really helpful, and it amazes me how many people they see, yet still remember you. I just had my first surgery and I couldnt be happier, I cannot wait to have the second eye done. The surgical center was very fast and clean. After surgery they quickly provided a nice little snack drink of choice- which was great as you are very thirsty and very hungry! The cataract surgery is definitely worth the upgrade if you can afford it, but my father had it done without the upgrade and was still extremely happy.
