Dr. Kovach and his staff at Elmhurst have been absolutely wonderful throughout every step in my cataract surgery. From scheduling to getting me in and out in a timely manner, they have always been professional. The cataract surgery went off without a hitch and I now have 20/20 vision with no side effects, pain, or any type of drawbacks. Can't recommend highly enough.

I was just in for a follow up check on my cataract surgery from last summer. The staff is great and very friendly. I got in right on time. Dr. Kovach is engaged with his patients when he is with them. I find this office friendly and patient centered. And my vision is still great and I've had no problems from the surgery. I can't recommend Dr. Kovach and his staff enough! They are great!

I love this office. I had an issue with my refill prescription. They took care of it right away. I would recommend this office to friends and family. The care they give to their patients is exceptional. Kudos to the wonderful staff at Kovach Eye Institute.

I saw Dr. Hoang on 06/01/2018.To start, the staff was amazing on the phone when I initially called asking to schedule an appointment and that I would be a new patient. The first thing that was said was, "Welcome to the office!". I have never, in all my years of doctors appointments, been greeted with such. They were courtesy and accommodating both when I made the appointment and called back later that day to see if they had any earlier openings. On Friday during the AM, I received a phone call from an unrecognized number (I usually don't answer those) and decided to pick up. The doctor was calling from another location. He asked what my contact prescription and brand was to make sure he had something at the Elmhurst location that he could check the fitting with. Dr. Hoang then let me know they had a busy load that day, to eat before I came (in case I was waiting) and that he looked forward to my appointment.Upon arrival, the staff was just as friendly, welcoming and courteous. They were packed full of people but I only ended up waiting another 15 or so minutes which is expected at any doctors office. The tech who took care of me was explanatory and attentive to my needs. She explained the entire process, what she was doing, and offered any answers to the questions I had. The exam rooms were clean and inviting. The tech took care of all my glasses prescription needs and had me put in the trial contacts while I waited for the doctor.Dr. Hoang came in and was super professional but also extremely relatable. He was absolutely down to earth and amazing. He was attentive to my needs, explained everything in depth, checked my eyes, gave me a few trial contacts and thanked me profusely for coming to see him. I had to schedule another appointment for a test and I will definitely be coming back to see him in the future!
