    Done with my eye surgery and Im in remarkably little pain! Virdi Eye Clinic was AWESOME!!!Let me tell you what happened.I had LASIK done at Eye Surgeons Associates in 2013 and had great results. I also had a guarantee that was part of the package I bought that I could get free touch ups if I ever needed to as long as I kept an annual appointment that I paid $80 a year OOP. I had to use that guarantee in 2017 for my right eye as the vision was slipping pretty bad and I had a noticeable difference in vision in each eye. But not before I had to pay a $200 bill because they said that LASIK had given me dry eyes and that I wasnt using enough eye drops and if I did, I would see just fine. My eyes have never felt dry or even look red, but I assumed they knew what they were talking about.Last year, at my annual appointment, I complained about my left eye getting a little worse. They agreed that it was seeing worse than my right eye, but said theyd like to wait until this year to do anything about it. I agreed, believing they knew what they were talking about.This year, I got my annual reminder postcard to make my warranty appointment, and when I did, they told me I no longer had a warranty because they no longer had the same technology. Mind you, I had specifically been told to hold off on PRK until this year.So I called Virdi Eye Clinic, they did a thorough consultation, actually tested my eyes for dryness and told me that I make excellent tears. I had to pay $1,950 for one eye and I didnt have the money in my FSA because I was supposed to get it for free from ESA.I was so nervous this morning because 3 years ago at ESA when they fixed my right eye, I could feel them scraping the layers of my cornea off. And then it was 3 days of THE WORST pain I ever knew a person could have in their eye.Today? I felt nothing. I still dont have any pain, nearly 5 hours later. Its blurry and it feels a little dry, but nothing like the pain ESA put me through.So, all this to say, ESA really screwed me over in so many ways, and we will be moving our whole family business over to Virdi in the future.And public reviews and posts like this one are why you dont screw over customers who have been with you since they were 18.
