    I like eye surgeon associates especially working well with a baby at the time, we were referred to them by the pediatrician.

    I don't normally look forward to eye appointments, but Dr. Burgett is great, and her assistant Heather is really fun and personable. I would recommend this team to anyone

    They need to have a better way to find them in Illinois. My papers they gave me said to go to Bettendorf, Dr said Illinois. She gave me the wrong address, I called office. They say GPS WON'T work for here. They give me directions I have to try to read and drive with one good eye. Really?? Can't they do better than this?? Keep Iowa people in Iowa. Don't make us jump through hoops and drive all over trying to find you.

    Well... If you want to be tricked this is the place to go. Lets start with scheduling a surgery... I was informed my insurance would not cover the cost of the medical drops they prescribed costing over $400 out of pocket and was told to bring the drops to my pre-op appointment where my surgery was cancelled, heart was broken, therefore wasting over $400. Please keep in mind I am not a wealthy person and $400 could have put a winter coat on my child's back. Then I was told the best vision I would have is with a contact (I had cataract surgery as a child and due to my age I was too young to have an implant) So I again purchased 1 single contact from them. When I came in for the contact fitting I was charged not only for the contact ($197 for 1 contact) but for the fitting... Surprise!! I was unable to wear the contact for more than 5 mins without extreme migraines, but guess what? That's not their problem.Anyhow, after years of aggravation and no real treatment I reluctantly went back where an really nice new physician was able to help me by referring me to The university of Iowa eye clinic where she had just finished school. And... Bham! Guess what? I now have vision in my eye without a contact, corrective surgeries and didn't have over 700$ total in prescriptions/with contact and fitting again.After I tried to explain to them, they still took my $ and never fixed anything for me. Moral of the story, they do not fix complicated cases, will waste your time and money. I am not and will not recommend this place to anyone unless you want to get tricked. Go straight to The U of Iowa Hospital and avoid this place.

    I always get very good care there. Dr. Boehm is awesome for dry eye problem I have. And now I have cataracts that I have to have removed and they're going to do on there. I think they really care that's why I go there.
