Clearview Eye and Laser

I had cataract surgery in the West Seattle office June 27th (the other eye was performed there May 9th). I felt a bit more during this second surgery, however no real pain to speak of. First eye had flashes for 2 weeks after surgery; second eye only experienced flashes for a few days. Colors are much more vivid.With the second eye, the gal that put in the IV also brought me warm blankets loved it. I also received an eye drop chart that allowed me to check off when I put eye drops in exceeded my expectations.Follow up exam in Burien July 9th. All the people were awesome. The front desk gal is so efficient (and funny), I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. Dr. Weingeist is very thorough and a pleasure to have for a doctor. My first eye can see distance perfect love it. My second eye distance is still blurry but better than before surgery so I finally drove after two years. After my second eye surgery I can see my desktop computer better without glasses. It is so nice not to use my progressive glasses and require 3 different sets of glasses; one for TV/reading; one for computer/reading , and one for driving/reading in the sun.Im looking forward to next exam when well decide what I may need for glasses. Currently Im using OTC magnifying glasses for reading.

They were great. My surgery was done well and it was very quick. The staff was very friendly and helped me feel very comfortable.
