I was pleased with my eye exam visit. This was my first time here and everything went smoothly. The office staff was very professional and helpful, especially Emily. I didnt wait too long and was able to schedule easily. Location is convenient, easy to find, and parking is free in the garage!Dr. Tan was very compassionate, patient, approachable, professional and thorough. I believe the tech was Celeste? and she was very good as well. I appreciated how caring and compassionately she handled my initial exam. I was very thankful for the kind, compassionate care from Jamie (Clinic Administrator) who went out of her way to help me get my needs met. I observed her multi-tasking while providing exceptional customer service! I was not very impressed with the selection of glasses to choose from. Although there were a lot of glasses, I could not find the cat eye type glasses that I was looking for. Thus, I had to take my prescription to another location to get my glasses. I was not aware that I needed my PD measurement in order to order glasses online. When I came back to the office another day to ask for my PD measurement, the optician advised that they do not provide the PD measurement unless you get your glasses from them, due to liability. This was very disappointing and presented quite a dilemma for me since they did not have any glasses that I really wanted.That was quite a little ordeal and a lesson in PD measurement. I got my needs met, thankfully.

Last year it took 15 min to see the doctor, this year its over an hr I thimk its over booked.

Most everything was good except that I had to check-in on a console that was viewable by everyone in the waiting room. One of the questions asked was my social security number which I didnt want others to see as I typed it in. Mann Eye Institute needs to find a better way to check in or else not ask for personal information on a publicly viewable console.
