Due to Covid 19. I'm aware of precaution measures. I tried to explain my autoimmune condition sometimes causes me to cough. The person on the phone was alarmed by this and would not hear my very clear positive explanations that I might not cough. But I finally just had to cancel my appointment. I needed my exam & was experiencing flashing Which has now gotten worse. Hopefully. I will find another Dr who will take me soon.

From the refusal to perform an exam for both my glasses and contacts in one appt to the poor vision i had with the glasses i got to now 18 months later having the lenses "craze" from sitting in my purse in the carrying case and them not replacing the 1000 dollar plus i paid for the useless pair...... I will NEVER RETURN TO Lodens vision Center.in the carin the careying case

I wish I could give two rounds of reviews because I rate this place 5 stars for the way they handled my surgery and the results I got from it however, I went in for my one year follow up that was supposed to be a simple check up to make sure everything looked good and the nurse who was clearly brand new, scratches both of my corneas during the pressure test. I was so mad because I went in seeing the best I ever had and left with blurry vision and pain. So much so they had to give me steroids and write me a doctors note to miss work. Whatever the scale that is malpractice and I cannot believe a place where I had such a great experience the first time around would have amateur staff with even a slight bit of access toward touching a patients eyes. They were completely unapologetic and couldnt even wrap their heads around the fact that I went in for a check up and left like I left worse than when I had my surgery. Unacceptable.

The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing in this office. Holly did not give 2 messages to Dr. Barberick, or, she gave the messages and the doctor did not call me. I needed eye drops for my recovery, of cataract surgery I never got them. Publix called me weeks later and said they had been hold a prescription for me for almost 3 weeks. Again, no one from this office called me to advise this. By this time I was no longer required to use the drops. The doctor stated to me that she contacted the management to contact me 2 times. I am still waiting

Not very happy with the people that do the glasses.Im completely new to contact/glasses world, on my own. Had a pair of glasses when I was about 20/21 and now Im almost 34. Theyve worked fine up until about a year ago.Went and had a fantastic visit with Dr Barberic and her staff. However when I went over to look at frames, I repeatedly told the lady I was going to do the contacts for during the day and glasses at night while reading or in bed. Im very active, HIIT training, CrossFit, tough muder, warrior dash and so forth. I explained the contacts would be a fantastic way to still do all my active activities and then she explained while I was home I could use my glasses as a way to rest my eyes and not have my contacts in. GREAT! She went over my insurance about my frames and what all it covered. So I picked a pair of glasses and got them ordered, 6 business days later they are in! AWESOME! Then when I went back a week later about my contact follow up, I asked the Dr to have someone call me about going over my contacts as well so we could get some ordered. This lady stated it would be out of pocket since I ordered my glasses. HOLD UP! I told your glasses lady I was probably going to do both and NO mention to me did my insurance cover one or the other. AGAIN, Im completely new to all this so I dont know. She only went over with me what my insurance would cover for glasses. When I told her I was doing both, she should have told me it was one or the other not both cause I wouldnt had spent over $100 extra out of my pocket to get nice glasses. I would have waited and gave the contacts a trial run to make sure I only wanted contacts and not glasses. All the lady that called me could say was sorry I should know my coverage. Youre right I should, BUT, youre going over with me what it covers on my glasses KNOWING Im wanting contacts too. Knowing that should have lead her conversation a different direction to allow me to make my own decision. Now I have glasses that I only am wearing 5-10% of the time and paying full out of pocket cost for contacts. Had I been told it was one or the other, it would be different if I chose to go both rights, but I didnt get a decision. I felt that I was taken advantage of but this woman not taking a little bit extra time to make sure we covered my benefits fully.I work with the public and if I dont tell my customers everything they are offered, I catch hell. I asked to return the glasses and she stated I cant because they were customer made. This is bull in my opinion. I understand not being able to return the glasses but someone should have been done other than, Im sorry, youre responsible to know your stuff. She stated I could come get my contacts at retail and I expressed Id just come get my Rx and order them somewhere else at retail and she said ok have a good day and hung up.
