I felt like a number, trying to move me through as fast as possible. Only saw Dr. Loden visit #1 and prior to surgery. Even then he came to make a mark on my eye and nothing else. The other doctors were ok but never really explained things to me. The pricing information was misleading as it listed the cost PER EYE instead of the cost for both eyes. The video they show misleads you to think that the more costly laser-assisted surgery is a safer and better option. It is only more costly. I am not seeing well in my peripheral vision and my follow up doctors seem to dismiss my concerns saying it may take a year to clear up. I would not recommend Loden Vision if you are looking for a personable care team. I'm a nurse and I was sorely disappointed with the care I received.

Finally had cataract surgery in March 2021 as they had to reschedule because they ordered the wrong lens. I paid to the high price so I would not have to use readers. I should have saved my money as I have to have readers. My advice is to not be out the extra money. Has anyone else experienced this issue? I wished Id have saved myself $4,000. Not happy at all.

Really dissatisfied with my experience or should I say lack of experience here. I booked my appointment with two and a half hours to spare from when I needed to travel to another appointment I had. I was told over the phone that my eye exam for glasses could take 1-2 hours. It seemed like 2.5 hours for paperwork and exam should be fine. Never had a glasses exam go for two hours, but wanted to be safe. I arrived a few minutes before my appointment and after 20 minutes of getting signed in, 5 pages of paperwork and paying my co-pay they tell me (after I asked mind you) that oh by the way our power went out two hours ago and we are behind so it's going to be an hour wait. They even checked with the doctors for me to make sure, I thought surely someone can expedite this knowing I have another appointment to get to and knowing this is not my fault, but apparently not. It's 1 hour wait on top of the 20 minutes of paperwork on top of the 1-2 hour exam. And oh by the way they charge $50-120 for contact fitting. Don't know if that is standard, but I've never had to pay more than my copay for contact fittings. I don't even need to try on the contacts because I know what brand I like! I told them this and they said it doesn't matter I still have to do it. But I digress, back to the minimum of a 1 hour wait. Ironically I had an eye doctor appointment yesterday that I cancelled because it was a 20 min drive and this clinic was a 5 min drive. I thought I should start at a new clinic close to home. The other doctor it turns out would have been better because they are 1) 20 minutes away, but get you out in an hour or less2) don't charge late or cancellation fees. 3) don't charge a fitting fee Loden charges $50 if you don't cancel more than 2 days prior or are 15 minutes late. I know they will probably respond to this and say "our power went out," but it's really unprofessional to not even let your patients know what to expect. If your power was out at 1:30 you should have had your receptionists on cell phones calling us to reschedule. At least then maybe I would have been able to stay at work so I could actually take the PTO for another day.At the very minimum when I first walked in and they took my temperature they could have said , by the way it's going to be an hour wait. They didn't which tells me two things:1) they don't think about their customers that much2) hour long waits here are just par for the course No thank you. I planned my whole day around an appointment I couldn't do. I should have known by their review, all 5 stars are for lasik. So as long as your spending $1000s of dollars maybe they treat you well, but if you are just a measly glasses wearer don't expect the same treatment. I could have had an exam yesterday at a different eye doctor, but no I wanted to try this fancy corporate place. Well guess what you get with corporate? Terrible customer service. Hopefully I save someone else from wasting their time and money.

The wait wasn't bad and front desk staff was really nice and polite. They need to work on staff members in charge of making appointments and how they code appointments/service. I went in trying to get my annual check up and I did mentioned i was having eye discomfort, so they decided to categorize my visit as "medical", I ended up paying my copay for health insurance, I got out without a new glasses prescription, they did not do my regular eye exam, and doctor Parker wasn't helpful. he wanted me to come back to check if i improved in something he didn't find, what sense does that make???
