I had a procedure recently and couldnt be happier! Dr Spindle and his staff are caring and professional! It is obvious to me he really cares about his patients and is very knowledgeable in his practice. I highly recommend Dr Spindle!

Im so satisfied with my visits to Heaton Eye Associates. Everyone I spoke with - from the front desk all the way to the surgery suite - were so kind, understanding, and knowledgeable. At first, Lasik surgery always seemed like one of those bucket list things that maybe Id get around to one day. But the staff reassured me that I was a great candidate and that it would change my life. I was able to get an appointment for surgery very soon after my second consultation.Timeline: first consultation one week, second consultation the soonest Monday I had available, surgery two days after that. They mean serious business, and they really make you feel like everything about you is priority, always checking in on your level of comfort, making sure all of your questions are answered, and working in your best interest.The facility itself is very professional and tidy. There are multiple waiting areas that all have clean seating, magazines, and televisions. Before surgery they put you into a relaxation suite that is dark, quiet, and calm. The entire building seems like it was built and designed with patients in mind.Dr. Nickel was very professional and reassuring. The lasik procedure was explained to me multiple times, and they also gave me written literature to review so I didnt have to worry about forgetting anything after surgery.Surgery itself was mind-blowing. *DO NOT* under any circumstances look at YouTube videos of Lasik. It was slightly uncomfortable but there was no pain until a little after the procedure from my eyes being dry. I followed their advice about aftercare and took a long nap. I woke up this morning with near perfect vision. At my follow up appointment I mentioned to Dr. Nickel that some things were still blurry, which had me nervous. He explained clearly that this was normal, checked on my eyes again and let me know there was some haziness in my corneas that would go away within weeks. I love that they help you set your follow up appointments and genuinely care for each of their customers.Thank yall for all of your help! I couldnt be more grateful.

Great staff and great doctors! Dr. Risner did my PRK (lasik) and I love it. Being free from glasses has been so great!!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Marsh for almost four years now and have been very pleased with her. She makes me feel comfortable and answers any questions I have. She takes the time needed to make sure I walk out with the best glasses and/or contacts for my vision. She never appears rushed and makes me feel like she genuinely cares about my eye health.
