The hours for the Optical are not correct. It did say on google they were open on Saturdays until 12..then they changed it. I also stood outside the Optical until 8:40 today before she showed up. There were several people out in the parking lot upset as well bc the hours on the door are from 8 to 5 Monday through Friday. Seems unprofessional.

The staff is nice, however the answering service, along with the offices rules not to give out trial contacts, even in an emergency is definitely a problem. My daughter was visiting from out of town. She lost her contact down the drain and needed a replacement. She was looking for a trial contact close to her prescription so she could see to drive home the 500 miles. The answering service gave us a fax number so her eye Dr could fax the prescription to Dr Campbell's office. The fax number DID NOT exist! My dr's office on Smithview in Maryville didn't have any dr's in office on this day and could not help us. We were re-directed to their Keller office in Maryville. The Keller Dr office could not help us. So far we had wasted 2 hrs running around with no resolution. We decided to check Walmart's Eye Center and thankfully they were able to help my daughter with a trial contact so she could drive home 500 miles.

The doctor was great. However I was never called when my contacts came in. I work night shift hours so Im asleep during the day but every time I went to pick up my contacts 15 minutes before close they were always locked up already. If youre open until 5 please stay open until 5. If you close earlier than that please update your hours online to reflect when you actually are open.

I recently went to EyeCare Optical in Oak Ridge and had a great exam by Dr. Mia Guillory O.D. Unfortunately, due to my prescription, I had to order high quality, very expensive lenses. Two weeks later, I picked up the lenses and asked for a small bottle of solution and an eyeglass cloth. To my surprise, the young lady stated there would be an additional charge for the solution and lens cloth. I was extremely shocked by this extra charge because every eyeglass place I had ever been to always supplied, free of charge, a small bottle of solution and small cloth. To some people this might seem petty, but after spending $500.00 it became about customer service by showing appreciation for the customer. Typically the solution bottle will display the company name which is great for marketing and that little bit extra makes the customer happy and appreciated. Needles to say, I will be taking my business back to Volunteer Eye Care where they value the customer.

The doctors are very nice and helpful, its pretty expensive, but I reckon you get what you pay for. Only reason Im not giving 5 stars is that they will not email you your prescription paperwork if you ask for it! Theyll fax it or mail it to your house I know its of little consequence to most people but its 2022 who owns a fax machine
