I had LASIK surgery with Dr. Brenner at Boston Vision, and it was a very positive experience. From the first consultation to the procedure and follow-up care, everything felt organized, professional, and reassuring.Ill be honest - at first I was a little put off by the assembly-line process of the consultation, but I want to assure anyone else with the same concern that when it comes to your care, you will be treated with the upmost care and individualized attention. Dr. Brenner took the time to explain the process clearly, answer my questions, and ensure I felt comfortable before proceeding. I had even emailed him prior to surgery day to ask about my permanent eyeliner, and got a response within a couple of hours. The staff was friendly and efficient, which helped ease my nerves.During my consult, I was on the line between LASIK and PRK. On the day of surgery, it was still a game-time decision. I was pretty nervous making what felt like a huge decision in a matter of moments, but Dr. Brenner answered all my questions and helped me make an educated decision without me feel rushed.The procedure was quick and much less intimidating than I had expected. I felt some mild discomfort afterward, but that was well explained beforehand and went away quickly. I noticed improvement in my vision almost immediately, and it continued to get better over the following days. The aftercare was easy, and my goodie bag contained everything I needed.What stood out to me was the level of care and attention throughout the process. I felt well-informed at each step, and never pressured. Literally every staff member that I interacted with was kind and helpful. Overall, Im thrilled with my decision and would recommend Dr. Brenner and Boston Vision to anyone considering LASIK.And there are snacks in the pre-op room!
