I was impressed that the surgeon met with me at the initial appointment and describe the procedure. Some of their competitors do not meet with you until the day of the surgery.The procedure is a lot more uncomfortable than described. That is my only complaint. They should offer better pain meds. Six hours after the procedure, everything feels much better. 4 1/2 stars. Im a tough critic!

I had a good experience getting LASIK and PRK (one in each eye) at Boston Laser. Dr. Brenner seemed extremely knowledgeable and competent, which put me at ease. Hes clearly done a zillion of these surgeries. There was a bit of confusion in the communication between staff regarding which procedures I was having and when my appointments should be scheduled, but overall I am pleased with the experience and delighted with the results.

It's a teaching facility so the quality of the interaction varies a bit from visit to visit, but they are pretty good overall. I like my doctor, and their equipment seems up to date. Occasionally I encounter a glitch with the front desk. For example, on my last visit on July 28, 2020, my eyeglasses rx was not filled out correctly and I had difficulty getting a complete and accurate replacement form.
