Dr. Rothbart, much like Napoleon can best be characterized by his overly-aggressive or domineering social behavior. The term is also used more generally to describe people who are driven by a perceived handicap to overcompensate in other aspects of their lives. Dr. Rothbart's dismissive and condescending behavior are unnecessary and a distraction. Today during my appointment he was detached and pompous. Unfortunately, his skills in the O.R. are overshadowed by his lack of professionalism in the exam room. Dr. Rothbart, when you walk out of your office, you are no more or less important than the teacher, audiologist, highway patrolman, librarian, etc that share this world with you. Come down off of your high horse every once in a while.

My doctor and his PA are good, but the staff is not so much. If you go there, double check to see if your medical history is recorded correctly, mine was not. Several vital pieces of information were missing from my history even though I put it on the forms, an important drug allergy was one of the items missing. I had several issues contacting the nurse. I always had to leave a message, then my call was not returned until usually I had to call again and leave another message. After this, I usually did not receive a call back for over 24 hours regardless of the time of day I left the second message.

Do not go to this doctor if you have fibromyalgia or pain severe enough to require narcotic pain relievers, as he deals with neither.
