I was referred to Dr Swan by the ER doctor at Jackson hospital after injuring my eye. I can't express how disappointed I am in this practice and Dr Swan and Shin. As the spouse of a MD and knowing my share of physicians I believe I have a little credibility in bedside manner ( professionalism) and Shin and Swan are lacking!

Unprofessional unorganized lackluster staff. Chaotic business structure no order no follow through. If their is any kind of miscommunication it is directly the patients fault. Duty was too busy rushed my plug procedure very condescending. I wouldn't recommend. Do yourself a favor

Took my brother with a disability to office saw Dr. Shin everything started smoothly until he started to examine him. He started yelling to look this way don't blink. I told the doctor he's not deaf and I'm translating no need to yell, well he needs to do want I'm asking. Really a person with down syndrome can't control the fact that he see's something coming at his eye. He was suppose to take a sample of whatever he had in his eye and the risk was if he moves or blink I could cut his eye. I call our mom and told her the risk and how this doctor acted towards my brother she was not happy nor was I we left but not before I told him that we would find someone that can have the patience and find a different way to do this procedure his response was well the other place you will find a specialist is in Bham and if you don't he will lose his eye. I told him don't worry I have driven to Bham before to take him to doctors and I will make sure he doesn't lose his eye unlike you.

I'm here with my mom. The girl that checked my mom's eyes is treating her like a child. She is loud and my mom wears hearing aids, I don't and she hurt my ears. She needs more respect for older people. She wears glasses and shoulder link brown hair and skinny. Now I'm sitting in the waiting room while the girl works with another patient. I can hear her very clear with the other patients even when the door is closed. She just don't show people with respect. She is in the exam room 11. This is at 2:15 pm on Monday October 26, 2020. Please help our old people feel respected. This is uncalled for. My mom is in tears.
