I came here to get a second opinion and Im so glad I did. The last doctor I saw was trying to talk me into an $11,000 surgery and the doctor at the Mann Eye Institute told me that it wouldnt help me when I asked about it. I was so grateful. This eye exam was free while the last doctor charged me $200 so that right there tells you they care about eye health more than sucking away your money. So I decided to buy a new pair of glasses at their huge eyeglass store inside the clinic. The only problem I have is that after waiting 2 weeks for my glasses I didnt get what I ordered. I wanted to see both near and far. Thats why I gave the girl 2 prescriptions but she only gave me near vision. Youd think that after $430 dollars I would have had what I ordered. She admitted she made a mistake by not asking. When I ordered them my eyes were dislates so o couldnt read what I was buying. So I recommend buying your glasses when you are able to see your order so there wont be any mistakes. Now I have to give them back my new glasses and pay more money to get what I wanted in the first place.

This was my first visit as a patient and had a very positive experience for my routine eye exam with Dr. Beavers. While it is probably my inability to understand, several statements on the intake form concerning charges and insurance were confusing.

The new building is gorgeous, the staff is very friendly, and the care given is good. My one issue is that I arrived for my appointment at 1:40 ahead of time. I was not called back for around 30 minutes. After the initial screening, I waited another 30 minutes to be seen by the doctor. While sitting there, it appeared that they had only one provider on duty for routine exams. The provider gave me good care, but definitely appeared rushed.

I highly recommend getting LASIK at Mann. The staff were great and I had a quick recovery. I would not, however, recommend them for your routine eye care. Both times Ive been to the north location Ive had to wait an hour to be seen despite scheduling my appointments in advance. Its also hard to reach out to ask questions (have to go through a chat bot to maybe get to someone).Edit: added a star because they waived my imaging fee to make up for the wait time. The staff are great. I hope they can do something to make things more efficient!

Overall, I had a really good experience. I think the doctors and staff are very nice and knowledgeable. I felt that I got a good examination they were going through a heavy remodeling of the office off Baker Street. I did have to wait a little longer than I wanted to provide that I was there 10 minutes before my appointment, Id like to see some improvement in that area. And maybe a bit bit more one on one time with the actual doctor, but overall all my immediate questions were answered.
